Each year nearly 500 members of the community carve time out of their schedules to volunteer in our schools. They make the schools better and allow teachers to do more. LCPS welcomes their help and appreciates their interest in our students.
The process for being approved as a volunteer at a particular school begins with completion of the form found here. Submitting that form will allow the district to do the required background check. Once the background check is satisfactorily completed, the prospective volunteers will be notified and his or her name will be forwarded to the principal at the requested school.
