    Hundreds of college-bound seniors at LCPS high schools took advantage of the opportunity to avoid an application fee and to get the dedicated assistance of their school counselors and college advisers in applying to the colleges and universities during College Application Week, part of October's Countdown to College.

  • District dominates Tri-County Bright Ideas grant awards

    LCPS teachers from Banks, Early College High School, Frink, La Grange, Moss Hill, North Lenoir, Pink Hill, South Lenoir and Woodington won 45 of the 100 Bright Ideas grants awarded for 2019 by Tri-County EMC, including two of the top five grant submissions singled out for special praise. Total value of the grant awards: $28,283.
