  • Woodington seventh grader wins duel of spelling champs

    The annual contest to determine the LCPS’s best young speller came down a two-student battle that lasted 26 words before Woodington Middle School seventh grader Rachel Noble correctly, and fittingly, spelled “tumultuous.”

  • 53 students taking projects to regional Science Fair

    Fifty-three students who are the brains behind 43 elementary and middle school science projects are heading to the regional Science and Engineering Fair at East Carolina University after receiving input on their entries at the LCPS Science Showcase.
