Graduation
Graduation Requirements
The goal at LCPS is to have every student entering one of our three traditional high schools as a freshman graduate in four years; and school administrators and faculty are always ready to help students achieve that milestone. LCPS requires seniors complete 28 credits to be eligible to graduate with a high school diploma. Specific course requirements for public school students statewide are detailed in the chart below.
Lenoir County Early College High School is unique in the system in that freshmen enter with the goal of obtaining both a high school diploma and a college associate degree in four or five years. However, high school graduation requirements at Early College are identical to those at our traditional high schools.
