LCPS Announces 2025-2026 Summer Programs for Middle and High School Students

Lenoir County Public Schools is inviting students to take part in its 2025-2026 summer programs, offering a wide range of academic and enrichment opportunities for rising sixth through 12th grade students.

The programs will run July 13-23, Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with breakfast served daily beginning at 7:45 a.m. Most camps will also provide lunch and transportation, helping ensure access for families across the district.

Students Lead the Way as Innovation Teams Drive Creativity and Collaboration Across LCPS

Last year at Moss Hill Elementary School, a small group of students began meeting with a simple purpose: learn the tools on their iPads well enough to help others use them better. What started as the Moss Hill Tech Team has now grown into Student Innovation Teams in every school across Lenoir County Public Schools.

The idea is straightforward, but the impact is anything but small. Students are not just completing assignments on a device. They are building presentations from the ground up, animating ideas, troubleshooting problems, and walking into classrooms ready to support both peers and teachers.

Topping Out Ceremony Marks Major Milestone for New E.B. Frink Middle School
